The ground floor of the Periyar Reserve Bungalow has strong granite columns with a large sitting room with airy wooden windows, which offer breathtaking view of lush evergreen forest with occasional sightings of wild animals like Bison, Sambars and Elephants. A wooden staircase leads up to the first floor, which boasts three spacious and aesthetically furnished bedrooms with attached bathrooms. The first floor sit out is open on both sides and provides a bird's eye view of the surrounding cardamom plantations and the lush tropical forests. The Periyar Reserve Bungalow also serves authentic homemade Kerala specialties including mouthwatering recipes like mud chicken. Our guests can also enjoy outdoor dining facilities including the bonfire dinner on our manicured lawn.
